Rachel Chapman is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based 
in Baltimore, MD. Originally from Chicago, IL, Rachel moved to Baltimore 
in 2001 to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art. She earned
a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2005 majoring in illustration with a minor in 
creative writing and earned her two certificates in Graphic and Digital Design in 2008-09.  

Rachel has provided illustration and graphic design work for local and regional clients 
since 2005. A few of notables include illustration work for The Wall Street Journal, 
video game package design for Bethesda Softworks LLC, and magazine design for 
the International Youth Foundation based in downtown Baltimore. Rachel contributed 
a significant portion of illustration, info graphics and design work to IYF's YOUth 
magazine, including the magazine's cover and spotlight story. 

In her personal work, Rachel has dabbled in a variety of creative outlets beyond graphics 
design; including printmaking, children's book illustration, graphic novels, animation, 
and toy design to name a few! She is open to any unique opportunities to be creative, 
and is available for freelance work of many kinds.
